Dr. Jon grew up just outside of East Lansing, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan before answering a call to serve his country as a commissioned officer in the United States Army.
After completing his military service, Dr. Jon pursued advanced training through a one-year fellowship in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Kentucky. He was then accepted into the University of Kentucky's orthodontic residency program, where he earned both his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master's degree.
